This course is designed to give students a working knowledge of the computer. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of basic keyboarding, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tasks, Internet, and computer peripherals.

 

CE708 MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION
7th - 8th; 5.0 semester credits

This course explores the many applications of technology to create multimedia productions. Students will use technology as a tool to facilitate critical thinking, organizeinformation, and demonstrate learning. Skill-based instruction will focus on desktop publishing, computer graphics, art programs, color theory, layout and design, sound mixing, video photography, and informational writing. Emphasis will be placed on using multimedia as a tool to enhance presentations. This course will develop student awareness of the impact of multimedia in business and examine potential careers in this field.
